One day writer came to visit Sri Lanka and travel with me when I was a just Tourist Driver. I gave my level best service them to see my motherland. At the end of tour they satisfied with my service very well. To give gartitude about my service the have mentioned my name on Lonely Plannet Magazine as very rare optunity that gets as a tourist driver. Mr. Ryan Ver Berkmoes , Mr.Stuart Butler & Joe Bindloss you are the Founder fathers of Ancient Lanka Group.
Ryan grew up in Santa Cruz, California, which he left at age 17 for college in the Midwest, where he first discovered snow. All joy of this novelty soon wore off. His first job was in Chicago at a small muckraking publication where he had the impressive title of Managing Editor because he was second on a two-person editorial staff and the first person was called Editor. He wrote Lonely Planet's Sri Lanka, Chicago and Moscow, co-wrote Texas, Canada and Western Europe, and coordinated Russia, Ukraine & Belarus, Great Lakes, Out to Eat - London, Netherlands, and Britain.
He is a Lonely Planet author writing guides to Spain, France and Norway, various parts of Africa (Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Chad and Cape Verde), Yemen and South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Burma) and Indonesia. He is also the author of the Bradt guide to Benin in West Africa. He is a surf journalist and explorer. His expeditions in search of new or little known surf spots have taken him from the coastal deserts of Pakistan and Yemen to the rain soaked jungles of Colombia and the Arctic tundra in winter.
Joe has been writing travel guidebooks, coffee table books and print and online articles about travel for more than 20 years, covering dozens of destinations around the world, with a special focus on London, India and South Asia and Southeast Asia. Joe first got the travel bug on a grand tour of Asia in the early 1990s, and he's been roaming around its temples and paddy-fields ever since on dozens of assignments for Lonely Planet and other publishers, covering everywhere from Myanmar and Thailand to India and Nepal. Joe's grandfather was a stoker on a navy warship and he grew up with stories of what was then Ceylon, inspiring him to devote my working days to travel.
